What’s going on in northern Door County?

New way to access Sand Bay Beach

The trail systems behind Rowleys Bay Resort used to provide convenient access to Sand Bay Park and beach, but with the recent sale of an adjoining property, we are no longer able to use the path that led from our trails to the beach. Access to the beach is still possible! It's just a short drive around the block. Click here for the convenient Google Map that takes you right from our front door to this great park and waterfront location.

2021 4th of July Fireworks Schedule

After a year off (because Covid), 4th of July fireworks around Door County are back! Here's where to go to see the sights this year: Gills Rock Most guests to northern Door County head to Gills Rock to see the fireworks off the west side of the peninsula. This year food and fun kicks off at 5pm including a fish fry fundraiser at the Death's Door Maritime Museum.
