It’s April 1st, also known as April Fools Day. Today is the day Kimberly would normally be playing tricks on our readers: promoting our new Listerine-flavored cinnamon roll frosting, playing two truths and a lie with Sasquatch, or teaching chess to seagulls (you know how that ends).

But given current events (hashtag “given current events”) we thought some of that kind of thing may not go over too well. We don’t need something to be grumpy about. We need a reason to smile and laugh and come no more than 6 feet from each other.

So who better to talk about than our favorite person who loves to smile and laugh and be with friends: Peter Rowley.

Ok, that’s a total lie. We call him our favorite curmudgeon.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a fish boil story, you know he came here with his wife and who we assume is his mother-in-law, and then when the population of the 10-mile radius grew beyond three, decided it was time to move along.

While he was super into seclusion, we know not everyone is. While we can’t literally bring you tidings of joy today, we hope we can make you laugh, with this delightful list of coronavirus parodies we call Peter Rowley’s Viral Playlist.

Peter Rowley’s Viral Playlist

The list includes such hits as:

And more!

Luke Murgatroyd sings I Think We’re Alone Now

Zach Timson sings The Broadway Coronavirus Medley

Nick Savino sings U Can’t Touch This

In fact, many of these artists have full channels where they’ve been posting amazing works for years. (The Holderness Family is my personal fav; everything they do is gold.)

Today’s BINGO phrase is PETER ROWLEY. If you have that on your bingo card, write 4/1 over the top of it to mark it off (or X if you’re following along with a digital card).
